Snooze Alarm (Intro of “The Wink”, Season 07 Episode 04, Seinfeld):
Every morning when you wake up, it’s like you’re being born all over again. Did you ever had that feeling because you can’t see, you can’t talk, you’re on your way to the bathroom and you’re trying to remember “How do I walk?”. It’s like you’ve never been alive before. But if any invention marks the decline of human civilization I think it would have to be the snooze alarm. The snooze alarm is based on the idea that when the alamr goes off, you are not getting up. You’re not even awake, you’re already a failure! They should sell the snooze alarm with an unemployment application and a bottle of tequila. Just make it a complete pathetic-loser kit.
The Worlds Collide (Plot of “The Pool Guy”, Season 07 Episode 08, Seinfeld):
Elaine no tiene con quién ir a un museo para ver una exhibición de ropas históricas, entonces Jerry le aconseja ir con Susan, la prometida de George.
Kramer: That’s gonna be trouble.
Jerry: Why?
Kramer: Jerry, don’t you see? This world here, this is George’s sanctuary. If Susan comes into contact with this world, his worlds collide.
Más tarde en el episodio, una vez que Elaine ya la invitó a Susan…
George: Have you spoken to Elaine yet today?
Jerry: No, why?
George: She called Susan last night.
Jerry: Oh yeah, I know.
George: How do you know?
Jerry: It was my idea.
George: Your idea?
Jerry: Yeah.
George: Why did you do that for?
Jerry: She was looking for someone to go to the show with.
George: Well that was a really stupid thing! You know what’s gonna happen now?
Jerry: Worlds collide.
George: We… yeah!
Jerry: Because this world is your sanctuary and if that world comes in contact with this…
George: Yes, it blows up! So if you know that, what did you tell Elaine for?
Jerry: I didn’t know. Kramer told me about the worlds.
George: You couldn’t figure out the “World’s Theory” for yourself? It’s just common sense. Anybody knows, you gotta keep your worlds apart.
Más tarde…
George: Ah you have no idea of the magnitude of this thing. If she is allowed to infiltrate this world, then George Costanza as you know him, Ceases to Exist! You see, right now, I have Relationship George, but there is also Independent George. That’s the George you know, the George you grew up with — Movie George, Coffee shop George, Liar George, Bawdy George.
Jerry: I, I love that George.
George: Me Too! And he’s Dying Jerry! If Relationship George walks through this door, he will Kill Independent George! A George, divided against itself, Cannot Stand!
